Five rooms are located in the mansion itself including the spacious Carl Vrooman Suite, while two rooms are privately tucked away in a separate historic and restored carriage house on the property (perfect for a romantic hideaway) and named Charlevoix, after a favorite vacation spot of one of the original mansion owners. Each suite in this historic Bloomington, Illinois house, represents part of the respected Scott and Vrooman families that graced the home.
Common areas in the mansion and carriage house expand the spaces available for guests to use and explore. Each morning awaken to the smells of a gourmet breakfast from downstairs! A perfect alternative to hotels, especially for business travel with free WiFi and no distractions. The common areas, the entire main house, and carriage house can also be reserved for a wedding, reception, rehearsal dinner, business meeting, retreat or intimate special event. Being both an event venue and a bed and breakfast means those being celebrated can stay overnight and relax leading up to and after the event with breakfast provided.
