Ever since the camera crews rolled into town in 1992, Woodstock, Illinois has embraced Groundhogs Day. Woodstock is where the movie “Groundhog Day” was filmed. Starring Bill Murray, the movie became a hit and the town became a hub for all things groundhog.
Next month, Woodstock celebrates Groundhog Day with a four-day fest, February 1-4, 2018, that has a little something for everyone. The Victorian Rose Garden B&B in Algonquin is just a 12-minute drive from Woodstock and would be an ideal place to stay for the weekend.
